Angela has represented people convicted of murder in complex postconviction proceedings. She has investigated and litigated complex cases that involve actual innocence, prosecutorial misconduct, Brady violations, ineffective assistance of counsel, witness misidentifications, false confessions, law enforcement misconduct, and more. Her experience ranges from representing individuals with Florida death sentences in habeas corpus review to representing those wrongfully convicted as the result of Chicago police misconduct.

Drug Crimes

Angela accepts drug cases in Illinois and federal courts. She has defended multiple drug cases, including possession with intent to distribute, drug conspiracies, and large-scale distribution cases including drugs such as methamphetamine, cocaine, crack, heroin, and others.

Sex Crimes

Sex cases are charged in federal and state courts under names such as child pornography, prostitution/solicitation, aggravated criminal sexual abuse, predatory sexual criminal abuse, sex trafficking, and solicitation of a minor for sex over the internet.
